A lot has happened in the start of this season, so it's time for another series of news from inside the team.
1, 2 and now 3 victories in Vejle-København!
After Guilherme Rios and Perceval Lasalle it was time for Qasim Kamal to raise his hands and win the oldest classic of the OCM calendar! With an amazing form, Qasim Kamal was unstoppable! Clayton Storrs (English Sprinting Team) and René Pineau ( Fissa) were 2nd and 3rd respectively. Øystein Ottesen also participated on the classic but finished 5th just behind the first group of sprinters.
This is the 6th participation of YST in Vejle-København. Here are the results of our participations:
#21 - 3rd Ramiro Carrilho
#27 - 1st Guilherme Rios
#32 - 19th Julius Maaskant
#37 - 2nd Kristoffer Skog
#38 - 1st Perceval Lasalle
#40 - 1st Qasim Kamal
Not bad....
And finally the Volta ao Porto SC!
The current form from Qasim Kamal has just been amazing! And now Qasim will be on our team history for ever as the rider who won the SC from our home Tour! This has been one of the biggest achievements we ever had inside OCM and now another goal is completed!
Big congratz to Jordão Bento (Rigana) for the huge fight he gave us finishing just 4 points behind Qasim on the SC!
Bye bye Perceval Lasalle, hello Tomas Swin!
Not all the news are happy news... Unfortunately Perceval Lasalle has left the team to join Team Tirilla on a deal that introduced 375k on our bank accounts. We wish Perceval and Tirilla all the best of lucks! We'll see each other on the roads again. Vivian will now have to keep his brother's legacy alive. The biggest win for Perceval for us was the classic Grasse - Toulon at his home country. Let’s see what he can do now...
The money available gave us the opportunity to buy Tomas Swin from Hommerts Cycling Team! Tomas will be now recharging his TF to lead the team in the NL Tour at the end of the season! Tomas is a big set piece for our team tactics and will try to replace Perceval on the more hilly sprinting stages and lead the team on the Tours!
Who's the next to join YST?
Many ask themselves, what's Yuri going to do with the money he has available now? The speculation is high, but nothings clear right now. Some say Yuri has been in constant contact with Nairobi City Cycling Club's manager Methode to bring Frederick Longosiwa to the team. Others say its Robin van Zijp from Team Stredet, and others even say it will be a Portuguese LO.
Stay tuned to find out more...

Great start to the season.
Congrats on the Volta SC. Unfortunately Robert Wennerlund couldn't stay upright on his bike because he might have given you a little more competition. He had mechanicals 3 times in the 4 sprint stages. I'm happy with his 2nd, 3rd and (2) 5th place finishes. Congrats, very nice win...
